NUCLA, Colorado (SmallTownPapers) -- Meloney Louise Carberry, 39, a resident of Naturita, was called Home to open arms and waiting angles, Wed., Feb. 08, 2012 around 10:45pm, after complications arose during surgery at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Jet., CO.

Meloney was born to Earnest Charlesteen Carver and Dorothy Louise Carver (now Dinkle) on Apr. 08, 1972, in Phoenix, AZ.

It didn't take long for Meloney to outgrow the borders of the desert state, it was clear that this phoenix needed more room to spread her wings.

So, next she called Alaska home. At the ripe old age of seven (7), Meloney became a seasoned gold miner, packing all her father's gear by foot through-out the Alaskan Bush entirely on foot, appaearently out hiking grown men carrying just as much gear, on a regular basis.

After some time, she moved back to the lower-48 to Greeley, CO, where she broke new bound-eries by becoming the first female member of the high school football team.

Overcoming obvious scrutiny through shear determination and guidance from her older brother and friends, she was soon affectionately known as Dusty, on account of that was all you saw when a player tried to run the ball past her.

Few succeeded. After high school, Meloney started a successful moving company (at the age of 19), whioch thrived for several years, before she ended up on the Western Slope where she eventually met her loving husband and best friend, Ryan Carberry.

They were wed in 2009, when they relocated to Naturita, CO, where their children now attend school.

Meloney suffered from a debilitating chronic pain condition that, in her latter days, kept her in bed most of the time.

Those who were fortunate enough to know her, however, knew of me vibrant, virtuous, loving and kindhearted child of God that she is today.

She is survived by her parents, Earnie and Dorothy, Husband, Ryan Carberry, and children, William(Billy), Cody, Isabella, Michael, Dallas, and Dakota. Brother Mike Webb, Sisters Lisa and Tyke and many, many other family members on both sides of the family, who love her without end.

Meloney Carberry you are missed greatly and remembered eternally. We love you so.
