WILMOT, South Dakota (SmallTownPapers) -- Hazel Smith and Sandy Veflin attended a picnic at Memorial Park at noon on Sunday. This is an annual event hosted by Lisa and Heath Isler and family of Grand Forks, ND. Heath is the son of Deb and Alan Smith. After the dinner they visited in the homes of Darlene (Johannson) Cave, Henrietta Jarman, and Helen Whipple. Good visits were had with all the ladies and they are all doing well.

Weekend visitors at the Scott and Cheryl Rondeau-Bassett home and taking in the Harvest Fest activities were Chris Rondeau, Jevon, Jessie and Jada Rondeau ofYoung America, MN; Sam Rondeau, Kiley, Jacob and Mason Rondeau of Shakopee, MN; Sally Rondeau of Rogers, MN; and Pat Rondeau of Brooklyn Park, MN.

Ken and Mary Schliesman of Bellevue, NE entertained Bob and Mavis Doschadis, Richard and Naomi Conrad, Delton and Eleanor Osterloh, Joyce Vosberg, and Dale and Anita Remund at their cabin at Hartford Beach on Tuesday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Donn Bassett attended the 4-H supper and Style Show in Sisseton Wednesday evening.

Royal Ballhagen and Chuck Grove of Marshalltown, IA visited at the Darvin Ballhagen home from Tuesday to Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Marlyn Green and Lois Eastman attended a party at the Wheel Inn in Watertown Friday night for those who have lived in McAllen Trailer Park in Texas. There were 22 people attending. They, later went to the Salvation Army to listen to the music.

Ann Ammann visited Irene Conrad on Friday and on Saturday, Alana Hansen and Sharon Terrill stopped by. Dale and Anita Remund joined Graham Oey and Rachel and Carter Locy in Sisseton on Wednesday evening to go to the 4-H Barbecue.

Gathering at the Don and Kathryn Gesterling home in Browns Valley on July 28 to celebrate Kathryn's birthday were Gary Cummins of St. James, MN, Mary Nibbe of Savage, MN, Jerry and Karen Riedel of Watertown, Diane Cummins of Milbank, Donley, Martha and Kathy Dickinson, Arlene Hansen and Chuck and Gladys Miller.

Luella DeGreef attended the wedding of Craig Prisinger and Malinda Ridler in Milbank on Saturday evening.

John and Tammy Henry and family of Chandler, AZ are visiting their grandmothers, Phyllis Johnsen and Adeline Overberg, and other relatives in the area.

Dennis and Hannah Hutchins and Drew of Sisseton visited at the Jim Hutchins home Sunday evening.

Marlyn Green participated in the Tractor Drive from Watertown to Clark on Saturday.

Pat Rondeau of Brooklyn Park, MN was a Friday overnight visitor at the Scott and Cheryl Rondeau-Bassett home. Sally Rondeau of Rogers, MN is also visiting for a few days.

Neoma Ballhagen attended the bridal shower for Carrie Borgheiinck in Browns Valley on Saturday.

Doris Christianson and Joan Hawthorne of Grand Forks visited Ellen Gates in Wheeling, West Virginia from Monday to Friday. Amy Christianson of New York joined them there.

Dale and Anita Remund were Saturday visitors at the Dr. David and Lori Oey home in Sisseton to visit with Alexander and Tracey Oey, Haley and Xander of Marshall, MN; Graham Oey and Christina Baldwin of Sioux Falls; Rachel, Carter and Emilyn Locy. They celebrated Haley's 13th birthday. -Marcia Quade and grandson, Felix, of Lincoln, NE were visitors at the Darvin and Neoma Ballhagen home on Sunday.

Marlyn and Joyce Green, Wayne and DeeAnn Dragt of Milbank and Conda Green and Rick Eck of Yale had supper in Watetown Saturday evening to celebrate DeeAnn's birthday.

Nancy Ammann, Mitchell and Nathan of Traverse City, MI visited Pearl Ammann at the Wilmot Care Center on Thursday.
